On Sunday night, Milwaukee’s Turner Hall Ballroom played host to a seriously groovy pairing consisting of headliner, Lettuce, hailing out of Boston, and relative newcomer, Balthvs from Colombia. Three hours of relentless jamming ensued.  Lettuce has been laying down their funky groove for over 30 years while Balthvs has been doing this since 2019, but really made their splash in 2022 at Austin’s SXSW festival.  Balthvs will be opening up for My Morning Jacket on most of their fall tour.
