Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, Georgia was host to a sold-out evening of music with singer-songwriters Sara Hells and Olivia Barnes on a warm Thursday night. Opening the evening was Olivia Barnes performing solo and joined for a song by Sara.  Headliner Sara Hells was accompanied by Geoff Melkonian, an Atlanta musician, well known for his bands, The Band Ends and The REMakes.

Sara Hells is a 24-year-old Atlanta native based in Nashville, Tennessee. She entered the singer-songwriter scene in 2023 as an opening act at Eddie’s Attic and returned for a sold-out headline performance. She was a special guest at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama alongside country icons including Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley for “Still Playin’ Possum: Music & Memories of George Jones”, which was featured on PBS’s Great Performances.  Other notable appearances include opening for Randy Travis at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and performances at 30A Songwriters Festival in 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Olivia Barnes is an Atlanta-bred, New Orleans-based independent singer-songwriter who’s been writing songs for as long as she can remember. Olivia is known for the twang woven throughout the music she creates, but has proven she can genre-bend between pop, rock, alternative, classic country, Americana, and folk-blending the music she loves now with the sounds she grew up on. She draws influence from artists such as Tedeschi Trucks Band, Hurray for the Riff Raff and Liz Cooper but is also inspired by the music of her childhood, from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to R.E.M. to Sheryl Crow.
