On Friday night, Widespread Panic kicked off their annual late October residency at Milwaukee’s famed Riverside Theater. The show began with Mayor Cavalier Johnson declaring that it was Pabst Theater Group day. The city fully embraces this band and all the zaniness that happens in Milwookie! Folks were turned on by a raging “Greta” opener, the depth and breath of “You Got Yours”, and “Quarter Tank of Gasoline” which hadn’t been heard in 61 shows. This was the 39th time WSP has played the Riverside.
