Yep, Milwookie still loves their bluegrass. On Thursday evening, Greensky Bluegrass out of Kalamazoo, MI played Milwaukee‘s Riverside Theater. We are glad we got there on time for the opener Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, as we were rewarded by Donato’s stellar playing. Those who were unfamiliar with Cosmic Country are now! Quite the double bill of Americana/Jam/jamgrass/whatevs.

Greensky played two robust sets of music. Highlights were the the “Past My Prime” opener and “Run or Die” first set closer, as well as the show closer, “Broke Mountain Breakdown.” The band always keeps it fresh and puts on a vibrant show with top notch production.
