The Richmond based southern Americana rock band Big Mama Shakes formed in the summer of 2013, they show their original style and bring back an old sound in a way all ages can enjoy. The band is not afraid to push the boundary with their blend of soul-rock and is known for getting the crowd dancing at their shows. After releasing an album last year and another EP this year, Big Mama Shakes has been doing a lot of touring and staying very busy.
Audio Barre started as an idea for a podcast for listeners to discover local musicians in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area, but quickly become much more than that. Audio Barre is a place to find interviews, performances, gear rundowns, and candid conversations featuring up-and-coming talent, established local musicians, national acts, and beyond! Audio Barre is, at its core, a collective of musicians, podcasters, engineers, producers, and content creators of all kinds.
