Phish’s Jon Fishman
to Receive Life-time Achievement Award
According to a recent story on Syracuse.com, Phish drummer, Jon Fishman, will receive “The Lifetime Achievement Award” from the Syracuse Area Music Awards.
Fishman has handled the role of drum throne so well in Phish. Rather than simply a static backing to the band, Fish leads jams with great dexterity. Check out this great rendition of “The Wedge” from 7/12/2013.
