Neil Young Keeps Rockin’ in Milwaukee – Photos and Recap

By Stephen Bloch

Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts delivered a stirring two‑hour journey from Young’s whole career including songs from Buffalo Springfield, solo work, CSNY, and Neil Young and Crazy Horse at Milwaukee’s BMO Pavilion on August 29, 2025. From the emotional opener “Ambulance Blues” to the triumphant “Rockin’ In The Free World” finale, the set was a greatest hits with classics like “Southern Man,” “Harvest Moon,” and “Ohio” alongside “Silver Eagle” from Talkin to the Trees.“One Of These Days,” resonated profoundly with the crowd, while the scenic backdrop of Lake Michigan elevated the experience into something unforgettable.  This was a show for both young and old.  The 79 year old still has both the guitar and vocal chops; neither faltered one bit.
