Fans can always rely on jam veterans moe. to bring elite musicianship whenever they take the stage. The Buffalo band certainly did that when they rolled through Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse for a two-night run, but there was also much more gravity and joy surrounding the shows . This marked their first return to the city with guitarist / vocalist Chuck Garvey after he spent some time away from the band recovering from a stroke. Moe has persevered through a lot, with bassist / singer Rob Derhak making a full recovery from cancer back in 2017 as well. All of these moments no doubt make the band’s musical chemistry stronger, with each night they take the stage together even more appreciated by the audience.

It is also clear they have tapped into another level of jams as a collective musical unit. This was no doubt evident in Atlanta, with guitarist / vocalist Al Schnier, drummer Vinnie Amico, percussionist / multi-instrumentalist Jim Loughlin, and keys player Nate Wilson all in synch throughout the shows.

We cannot wait to see them on the road for many more years to come!
