Faye Webster has hit some monumental achievements in her hometown of Atlanta as of late. She wrote a song for her favorite Atlanta Braves player, Ronald Acuña Jr. (“A Dream With a Baseball Player”), got to sing the seventh inning stretch “Take Me Out To The Ballgame” and meet Acuña on the field. She has also been known to rock the Braves jersey onstage. Her 2019 release was even title Atlanta Millionaires Club. She reps the A with pride.

And she most recently had two sold-out shows at the Variety Playhouse with a full orchestra to showcase here 2021 EP release, Car Therapy Sessions. What a homecoming gig to kick off the holiday season.

We were completely drawn into the Car Therapy Sessions release, as her warm vocals and whimsical songs pair fantastically with the multi-layered bounce of the full orchestra. With her singing front and center, every single person in the Little Five Points venue was drawn into the performance. “Kind Of (Type of Way)” was a hair-raising moment. Webster even performed a full second set with her band as well, giving all fans a full range of her musical flavoring.
