After an epic weekend at LOCKN’ festival in Arrington, VA, we’d like to take some time this Thursday to look back at a few epic sets from this weekend that have emerged online thanks to WMWV Radio! It comes as no surprise that our personal highlights from the weekend include the fire Joe Russo’s Almost Dead late night shows. The band is refreshing a catalog that is over half a century old and turning it into something that heads old and new can relate to and appreciate. For that, they’re unique and special.
Of course, what would Lockn’ be without Phil Lesh dropping bass bombs? We’ve included both of his sets as well. First he is joined by members of the Infamous Stringdusters and Phish, then his subsequent set features the likes of Chris Robinson Brotherhood and Gary Clark Jr.
