Winooski, Vermont based indie rockers, Ellen Degenerates, performed to an energetic crowd this past weekend at Middlebury College as local support for LA  group Machineheart at the MCAB spring concert.  The band has become a regular in the local scene, performing at Waking Windows Festival in Winooski as well as shows at ArtsRiot, Nectar’s, Radio Bean & the Monkey House.

The group recently recorded their first album at FutureFields studios in Burlington, VT. We are pleased to offer an exclusive download of their new track “Winnebago” of the upcoming EP Staleboat. The band tells us the song is “for all you disillusioned travelers out there, searching for solace in a concrete sea.”

Ellen Degenerates next show will be in support of Philly-based rocker Ron Gallo at the Monkey House in Winooski on Tuesday, May 24th. More info here.
