The Daily Mail has just confirmed that music icon and legend Prince has passed away today with a bad battle with the flu at his home in Minnesota. At this point in time the information is minimal. Simply put, he’d been battling the flu for weeks, which was why his private jet had to land early last week. It is with heavy hearts we express our condolences to a man who has touched the lives of all of us fans and artists in the music community.

Prince has died aged 57 at his estate in Minnesota.

Sources told TMZ that his body was found this morning at his Paisley Park studio.

Paramedics were called out at 9.43 this morning and Carver County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that there had been a fatality.
