Here at LiveMusicDaily it is with a heavy heart that we deliver the news regarding Todd Nance. I’ve spent some of the best nights of my life with Nance on the kit, so have many of you. There isn’t much else to say other than that we wish it didn’t have to be this way.

Jambase reached out to Panic and received the following comment “Duane will be the drummer for Widespread Panic moving forward. Todd will not be on stage this evening.”

Panic told Relix “Duane will be the drummer for Widespread Panic moving forward.”

The Duane Train will be here for the foreseeable future. I get it, he isn’t an original member, but at the end of the day it is very clear Duane is the right man for the job if Nance isn’t at the drum throne. He has really done a great job with these songs. Tonight he will be joining the band in Athens, GA the Classic Center. As a community the best we can do is to support the band during this time.

We love Panic and the Home Team of fans that make this one of our favorite bands. The show must go on. Todd we will miss you.
