Watch Widespread Panic Perform “Steven’s Cat” Live at SiriusXM

Panic recently visited SiriusXM in Nashville before heading up to LOCKN’ a few weeks ago to showcase their new album, Street Dogs for Breakfast due out Sept. 25th. It is great to see this band constantly pushing themselves and getting back in the studio to record some new material. While the new album featured Duane Trucks (thanks Duane), original Panic drummer Todd Nance will be assuming back his position on the drum throne in 2016.

The album itself features many  songs that have appeared frequently live, making them road tested and ready for the studio. The album engineering caters to both the studio sounds as well as Panic’s signature “live” sound. Full album review coming soon.

Till then, the new album is available for streaming exclusively via Gun and Garden.

Southern Jam Rockers Widespread Panic played to a lucky crowd of 50 listeners in the SiriusXM Nashville Studios to celebrate the release of Street Dogs. Check out a ripping live cut of Steven’s Cat from their performance.
