Bootsy Collins

The Jamcruise motored from Miami to Jamaica on Day 2, a Day at Sea.  Music started early and ran all day – Bootsy Collins played his first of two sets in the Pantheon Theatre and it was complete FUNK meltdown.   Heavy bass, sick lights and amazing costumes were the norm as the crowd chanted BOOT-SY over & over…..

After Bootsy, Thievery Corporation took the roof top pool deck stage for an electrifying midnight performance that blew away the Jamcruisers!!!   Vocalists Rootz, Zeebo, Mr Lif, Ras Puma, LouLou and Natalia Clavier delivered an epic set like no other, the ocean breezes were blowing, the stars were out and the vibes were thick – it was a very special night that no one will soon forget……

The Wailers

After spending the day in Jamaica, Jamcruise reconvened around sunset on the rooftop pooldeck where the Wailers featuring “Family Man” on bass guitar, played a legendary set of Bob Marley covers as night fell on a boat full of happy, Jammin Cruisers!!!  Perfect irie vibes to end a Jamaican day….

Rob Garza dj’ed later on Monday night on the rooftop Magic Hat Solar Stage – this was his second dj set on Jamcruise and it was a huge it, he pumped out the nu disco, boogie & house music – he had the whole roof deck dancing to the groove, very cool!!!
