Rock N’ Soul SuperJam- June 15, 2013

The great part about any festival in general is the ability to catch your favorite and rising acts coupled with some very special guests. The SuperJam at Bonnaroo over the years has come to take that collaborative spirit of “sit-ins” to the next level. I heard all the hype of the first Hip-Hop Superjam that took place on Friday night, and it was not until Sunday afternoon that I realized that there had been a Rock N’ Soul Superjam Saturday night that took place with a variety of my favorite artists covering some of the most heavy hitting funk/soul tunes including “Use Me” (Bill Withers) and a host of Sly & the Family Stones tunes.
