Madison Square Garden, NYC

     Phish crushed Madison Square Garden in New York City for 4 straight nights. The first set included the debut of “Garden Party” in addition to a well played “Mike’s Song>Walkaway” followed by a “Weeakpaug Grove”, and concluded with “Character Zero”. The second set the band picked up the the segueways with a scorching “Ghost>Piper>Light>2001>The Horse>Silent in the Morning” that was all capped off with the jaw dropper of all phish bombs, “You Enjoy Myself”.

The third set was solid, but the standout was a cover of Steve Miller Band’s “Fly Like An Eagle”. Followed by an encore of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Iron Man”, marking the first time the band had performed the song in its entirety.
