Last week Lettuce released “Bowler”, giving fans a preview of  their upcoming album, “Fly !”, set for release on Royal Family Records (June 5th). The funk/jazz supergroup has been around for quite some time, featuring esteemed funk and jazz musicians from Soulive, Shady Horns (Soulive’s horn section), and Adam Deitch on drums. The group’s  tour schedule is often limited because the members are extensively involved in other projects, so be sure to catch them live if you can. The only dates down on the books this month is a show tonight (May 2nd) at Tipitina’s in New Orleans.
