2025’s Sweetwater 420 Fest was a massive success at Atlanta’s Pullman Yards this year! We are very excited for the full weekend of festivities in the unique space, but below are a list of a few of the highlights from the weekend!
- Marcus King: A generational guitar talent with a voice that feels like it has 100 years of experience behind it.
- Sammy Rae & the Friends: Such a fun-timing, high energy show with vocals that are akin to Amy Winehouse. We cannot wait to see them again.
- Sierra Hull: Hull is an unreal mandolin player who has seemingly played with everyone (including performing with Sturgill Simpson). Her solo show really highlighted her ability to blend tender melodies and captivating musicianship.
- Greensky Bluegrass: The stalwarts of the ‘newgrass’ bands in the 2000s, Greensky Bluegrass’ sound is unique in that it does not necessarily follow the stiff rules of traditional bluegrass, but their spirited show was complete with a full light display and has moved the genre forward into new and exciting territories.
- Zach Person: Person is a top tier blues guitar talent with a distinct voice, he was around throughout the weekend and it was incredible seeing him sit in with The Dip, who watched on with amazement.
- The Dip: Funky R&B group that formed in 2013 by students at the University of Washington in Seattle, we have been wanting to see them for quite some time and were surely not disappointed.
- Lettuce: Unique jazz fusion jam band that kicked things off on the right foot on Friday. Their live show was perfect for the 420 Fest vibe.
- Drive-By Truckers: Georgia legends, led by Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley, performing in a fantastic outdoor space on a Saturday night. What more could you want?
- Grace Bowers & the Hodge Podge: A fantastic blues guitarist with immersive vocals. Another artist we will likely see a lot more of in years to come.
- Lawrence: The pop-leaning musicality of this brother-sister duo continues to be talked about with high praise. We cannot wait to see them on Sunday.
