Sweetwater 420 Fest to Feature Marcus King, Greensky Bluegrass, Sierra Hull, The Dip, Lettuce and many more! – Festival Preview

Sweetwater 420 Fest will be at Pullman Yards in Atlanta this year! We are very excited for the full weekend of festivities in the unique space, but below are a list of folks we are particularly excited to see.

  • Marcus King: A generational guitar talent with a voice that feels like it has 100 years of experience behind it. Always a captivating live show.
  • Sierra Hull: Hull is an unreal mandolin player who has seemingly played with everyone (including performing with Sturgill Simpson). Her solo material is excellent and should translate live.
  • Greensky Bluegrass: The stalwarts of the ‘newgrass’ bands in the 2000s, Greensky Bluegrass’ sound is unique in that it does not necessarily follow the stiff rules of traditional bluegrass, but their spirited show is complete with a full light display and has moved the genre forward into new and exciting territories.
  • Zach Person: Person is a top tier blues guitar talent with a distinct voice. Definitely make an effort to see him as the ‘artist at large’ of the weekend.
  • The Dip: Funky R&B group that formed in 2013 by students at the University of Washington in Seattle, we have been wanting to see them for quite some time.
  • Lettuce: Unique jazz fusion jam band that will no doubt kick things off on the right foot on Friday. Their live show is perfect for the 420 Fest vibe.
  • Drive-By Truckers: Georgia legends, led by Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley, performing in a fantastic outdoor space on a Saturday night. What more could you want?
  • Andy Frasco & the U.N.: If you have never seen Frasco live, you are in for a huge treat. Just think high-energy, good-timin’ live fun with heavy audience interaction.
  • Lawrence: The pop-leaning musicality of this brother-sister duo continues to be talked about with high praise. We cannot wait to see them on Sunday.
