Fantastic new supergroup Close Enemies played Atlanta’s Smith’s Olde Bar in February, marking a homecoming show for ATL’s own Peter Stroud. The band features longtime Sheryl Crow guitarist Stroud alongside Aerosmith’s Tom Hamilton on bass, Tony Brock on drums (The Baby’s and Rod Stewart), Trace Foster on guitar (longtime guitar tech of AC/DC’s Angus Young), and vocalist Chasen Hampton (who has been signing professionally since 11 when in the Mickey Mouse Club).
With a new album on the way, the band clearly has a chemistry and are all well-seasoned musicians that align stylistically. Definitely catch them on the road if they come to your town, but in the meantime check out the new singles “Sound of a Train” and “Inside Out”!
