England’s Arctic Monkeys are effortlessly cool and have managed to evolve their sound without abandoning songs from prior releases when performing live. Singer Alex Turner and the band captivated at Ameris Bank Ampitheatre in Alpharetta, GA while they ebbed and flowed from riff-heavy tunes (“View From the Afternoon”) to the crispy, lounge act sounds of the new album, The Car. Arctic Monkeys are continuing to add colors to their musical palette at each release, and it is a pleasure to see the colors run together beautifully in concert.
