King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard celebrated frontman Stu Mackenzie’s birthday in Atlanta, where he entered the stage in disco attire, was gifted a cloak by some fans in the front, and eventually got doused in silly string.
This Australian band is in full stride right now, and their album Ice, Death, Planets, Lungs, Mushrooms and Lava allows for further improvisation and more opportunity to continue weaving across the many genre landscapes in their vast catalog. King Gizzard is a vibrantly psychedelic must-see live spectacle.
