10 Songs I like, Vol. 6

When LMD started this new feature on the site our main goal was to try and introduce some new music into everybody’s lives. I’m constantly searching for great new songs and I find a lot of them by listening to Portugal. The Man radio on Pandora. Yes, I still use Pandora, mainly because it’s free. I also use Apple Music which is decent. My friends constantly harass me for not using Spotify, but I’ve used it in the past and it’s just not what I prefer.

I think we’ve had a wide variety of musical taste on the site for the past five volumes of “10 Songs I like” so we’re hoping to keep it going by continuing to bring you, the LMD audience, a wide range of selections from all different genres. I know you might roll your eyes at some of the selections, but it’s important to remember that everybody has their own taste which is why it’s imperative to have a lot of people contributing to LMD’s new feature.

In the coming weeks be on the lookout for a very special version of “10 Songs I Like” where we’ll have a well-known artist present his or her top 10 songs currently. It should be a real treat, but for now, here are 10 songs I currently enjoy. It’s been a little over a month since I presented the first volume so I’ve discovered a lot of new music over that time frame.  I know some of these songs are a few years old or more, but sometimes great tunes can slip through the cracks. As always, happy listening!

(Also, in case you haven’t noticed I’m kind of obsessed with Vince Staples right now. He is such a badass.)
