American Beauty has your Baker’s Dozen Plans Covered.

With the announcement of Phish’s “Bakers Dozen” at Madison Square Garden shows a number of venues throughout the city will be featuring live music on a daily basis. Only a hop, skip and a jump from Madison Square Garden, American Beauty, will be the headquarters for some amazing pre and post parties.

Kicking off the festivities on July 21st at 4 PM will be Burlington, Vermont three piece Navytrain with very special guests The Brummy Brothers. Then, on both Friday and Saturday, The Werks will bring the heat for your post-Phish hang.

The next week, for all you Deadheads, John Kadlecik Band will be performing some very special shows on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 25th & July 26th.

Another show to get excited about is Brandon “Taz” Niederauer. The youngster will show off his virtuosic guitar skills with some of the biggest names in the jamband scene. This will sure will be a great way to kick off the second weekend of “Bakers Dozen” at American Beauty on July 28th.

If you’re searching for a tribute group that will knock your socks off on Saturday, the 29th, a supergroup of musicians will be paying homage to J-Dilla. The group will members of groups such as Break Science, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Nth Power and many more!

August 1st is a very special day for fans of The Grateful Dead, as it Jerry Garcia’s 75th birthday. Half Step will be performing a set of Jerry Garcia tunes early the afternoon and then Reed Mathis & Electric Beethoven will be keeping the good times rolling late into the evening.
American Beauty will have “Jerry Lounge” that will be setup like a Phish lot and will offer grilled cheese and some PhanArt. For the off nights (24th and 31st) of the 13-night stint, the venue will host Phish and Grateful Dead trivia. The venue will also have an extensive craft beer and cocktail menu to choose from and will offer FREE pizza for drink purchase.
