Grace Potter Announces Lineup for Sixth
Annual Grand Point North Festival September 17 and 18 at Burlington’s Waterfront Park
Old Crow Medicine Show, Guster, The Wood Brothers, Kaleo, Blind Pilot, The Record Company and more to be part of 2016 festival
Grace Potter announced today the lineup for the 2016 Grand Point North music festival, scheduled for September 17 and 18 at Burlington, Vermont’s Waterfront Park. Potter will headline both nights and will be joined by Old Crow Medicine Show, Guster, The Wood Brothers, Kaleo, Blind Pilot, The Record Company, Kat Wright & The Indomitable Soul Band and Eliza Hardy Jones, who also plays in Potter’s backing band. Two day passes are currently on-sale; single day tickets go on-sale Friday, April 22 at 11am.
Continuing its tradition of showcasing homegrown talent, this year’s lineup will also include a strong representation of acts from around New England making their mark on the Burlington, Vermont music scene. Local and regional bands performing this year include: And The Kids, Steady Betty, Smooth Antics, Blue Button, Billy Dean & The Honor Roll, and Iron Eyes Cody.
This is a really solid line up, featuring several bands that LMD has supported over the years like OMCS, The Wood Brothers as well as smaller, up-and-coming acts like Smooth Antics, Iron Eyes Cody & Billy Dean & The Honor Roll. (Check out our articles by clicking the hyperlinks).
Local favorites Kat Wright & The Indomitable Soul Band are another group to look out for. Fresh off recording their debut record, this band has been on fire, selling out rooms like Higher Ground and more all around the Northeast. Check ’em out!
If you haven’t made it to a GPN at Burlington’s Waterfront Park, it’s time for you to make the trip. There’s nothing better than a beautiful September day on Lake Champlain seeing some of your favorite bands perform one after another.

Two-day festival tickets are currently $79 while supplies last. Single day tickets go on sale on Friday, April 22nd at 11am and are $59. Children 12 and under are free. Festival is rain or shine.
