Gem & Jam Festival Announces Late Night Shows

Gem & Jam Festival is thrilled to announce official festival late night shows during the 10thannual festival held in Tucson, AZ on February 12-14th, 2016. Hailed as the “Crown Jewel of the Southwest Festival Scene” (Huffington Post) and among “Ten Inspirational Sights to See in 2016” (Daily Beat), Gem & Jam is held each year during the internationally renowned Tucson Gem and Mineral show, and hosts over 50 musicians across 3 stages, plus gem and mineral exhibits, art galleries and painters, dancers, daytime workshops, and much more.

Keeping the music going all night long, the Gem & Jam late night shows will feature two shows each night of the festival beginning at 1:45 AM and ending at 5:30 AM. They will be held at Solar Culture/Galactic Center (18+) and The Club at Gem and Jam (21+), which is located on the festival grounds and will feature an open bar while supplies last.

Gem & Jam Festival has revealed the dates and musical lineup for its 10th annual event February 12, 13, and 14 in Tucson, Arizona. Held each year during the internationally renowned Tucson Gem and Mineral show, Gem & Jam hosts over 50 musicians across 3 stages, along with a plethora of gem and mineral exhibits, art galleries and painters, dancers, performers, daytime workshops, late night after parties and much more – all in the stunning Southwestern desert landscape.

For its 10 year anniversary over Valentine’s Day Weekend (Feb 12-13-14) in 2016, Gem & Jam Festival welcomes performers Beats Antique, Lettuce, Michal Menert (Pretty Lights Music) The Polish Ambassador, Tycho DJ set, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Minnesota, OTT (UK) and Lyrics Born (Live).

Rounding out the top half of the lineup are Break Science (Pretty Lights Music) with The Shady Horns, Manic Focus (JUST ADDED!), Mark Farina (Mushroom Jazz), Eliot Lipp (Pretty Lights Music), Desert Dwellers, Dirtwire (ft. members of Beats Antique), Govinda, Delhi 2 Dublin, Exmag, Krooked Drivers, Marvel Years and many others.

Gem & Jam has also added a Soulection Stage to the 2016 lineup.  On February 13th, the Soulection Stage will feature a heavy-hitting lineup curated from the Soulection roster, including:  Sango, Esta, Joe Kay, Insightful and The Whooligan.

Known for hosting a unique celebration of music, art and gems, Gem & Jam 2016 will again bring together a vibrant and creative community to a desert oasis for 3 days and nights.  In addition to music, attendees will enjoy gem, crystal and mineral vendor spaces, transcendent visuals by featured artist Johnathan Singer (Grateful Dead’s “Fare Thee Well” and Tipper), live painting and performance artists, art exhibits, a variety of daytime classes and workshops, late-night after parties, and much more.
