Black Masala, Album Release Party at Gypsy Sally’s in DC on Saturday
Free Ticket Giveaway
Sure, having an album that can stand the test of time is important, but so is exhibiting that piece of work onstage. Black Masala is your gypsy carnival circus of music that knows no limits of genre. You are rocking out, grooving like you would to funk music, yet you feel like you may be at some ska gypsy punk show, and you become overwhelmed with their uncanny stage presence.
Touring is its own adventure and we’ve been fortunate to have a great month touring the East Coast supporting our new record “I love You Madly”.We’re looking forward to our big hometown CD Release Show this Saturday Dec. 5th at Gypsy Sally’s. We’ll have the full recording band (9 piece) as well as some other top notch touring acts The Shack Band and Flux Capacitor. Party! Don’t miss it! – Black Masala
Their music must be experienced in person to fully understand this band and that is what makes them so much fun. You won’t be served soft underhand pitches of predictable songs and setlist structure. Instead, you’ll probably find a Monty on Sousaphone standing next to you in the crowd while Kristen Long reaches deep into your soul with her powerful vocals.
Black Masala has made a big impact as one of the most exciting live acts in the region and is the winner of four Washington Area Music Awards “Wammies”, including Best New Artist and Best World Music Album. They’ll be making their debut at Gypsy Sally’s in their hometown on Saturday, which will certainly elevate the level of energy in the room.
Join our newsletter for occasional updates and tell us why you’d like to attend the show for a chance to win a free ticket to the show with The Shack Band and Flux Capacitor. Tickets can be purchased here.
