LiveMusicDaily & Black Masala
Join Forces for “I Love You Madly Tour”

LiveMusicDaily is pleased to team up with DC Gypsy-Brass-Rockers, Black Masala for their “I Love You Madly” tour. Black Masala has taken the region by storm in their first 3 years as a band and received 4 Washington Area Music “WAMMIE” Awards for “Best New Artist” and “Best World Album of the Year.”
What does Masala offer that makes them different? Their sound. New Orleans Funk and Brass, Punjabi folk traditions, and experimental Gypsy Punk come together to forge a unique sonic identity. The band has energy, authenticity, charisma and impeccable delivery.
Their new album “I Love You Madly,” recorded by Scott Robinson, is set to release on Oct. 30th! Black Masala will kick off their tour in support of the new album on November 5th at The Camel in Richmond, VA. The show marks the first of a three night run with Baltimore soul talent, Bosley including stops in Charlotte and Asheville, NC. The tour includes more stops in Pennsylvania, NYC, and Maryland.
The December portion of the tour features a CD release party with the highly acclaimed regional talent, The Shack Band at Gypsy Sally’s along the Georgetown waterfront in DC. The following weekend Black Masala will be in Raleigh, NC at the Pourhouse Music Hall with Boom Unit Brass Band. The tour concludes with stops at Bourbon and Branch in Philly, Drom in NYC, and Rongovian Embassy in Trumansburg, NY.
