This is very unfortunate and it certainly isn’t the only recent festival to be cancelled in recent history. In fact, one of my favorite early festivals, Langerado, doesn’t even exist anymore.
Even Taloa festival recently cancelled “We are sad and regretful to inform you that TALOA Music Festival is cancelled. All tickets are being refunded. Thank you for your support. -TALOA”
Things happen, life happens, and things come up. But in a world with A LOT of rising music festivals coupled with the large costs of these operations it doesn’t seem like this trend is going away anytime soon. Below you’ll see that Phases attributes the cancellation “a significant number of unforeseen obstacles.”
Unfortunately, due to a significant number of unforeseen obstacles, including the continued closure of the only road leading into the festival site, we were left with no choice but to cancel the event.
