Widespread Panic
Releases New Pro-Shot Video
“Honky Red” • March 29, 2015 • Phoenix,AZ

Writing about Widespread Panic can be a bit overwhelming. Simply put, they bring the heat. Anyone who has seen the Home Team knows that the epic night-long journey they deliver places them among the best on the live music scene.
The energy is non-stop. Like many jam acts, sometimes it can take a bit of time to get used to new songs. However, in the end there are new gems to accompany the songs that have been around for 20 plus years, such is the case for Panic. Covers like “Honky Red” only add to the excitement of the Home Team’s catalog.

With a scorching second night in Columbia, SC the band will set their sights on Wanee this weekend before heading up to Richmond, DC, Brooklyn, & Baltimore next week to wrap up Leg 2 of the Spring Tour.
Panic Summer Tour and festival dates are just on the horizon as well. The band recorded a new album (release date TBD) and the future looks bright. It is sad not to have Todd around, but I think it is very safe to say that Duane Trucks has come in and done an incredible job on the drum throne. Time will tell regarding the drum situation and we wish Todd and the rest of the band only the best.
There’s one thing that’s for certain and there’s one thing that’s for sure… They’re about to tear the roof off venues in the Mid-Atlantic & Brooklyn. See you folks next week! Till then, enjoy the new video of “Honky Red” filmed at McDowell Mountain Music Festival in Phoenix, AZ on March 29th, 2015.
