Last night Widespread Panic took the stage at Morrison Center in Boise,Idaho to kick off their Spring Tour. Opener calls were being tossed left and right. However, pretty much everyone was wrong as the band launched into a cover of Led Zeppelin’s “D’yer Maker”, a song they first covered mid second set in 2014 at the First Bank Center in Denver,CO at their Halloween performance.

This setlist speaks for itself. Pretty strong on paper and it was a great listen on the stream. Last night Panic proved they are coming in to this Spring 2015 Tour hot with no sign of looking back. If the strong first set and the nasty segue sandwich of “Blight”>”Surprise Valley”>”Drums”>”Surprise Valley”>”Party at Your Mama’s House”>”Stop Breakin’ Down Blues” in mid second set wasn’t enough to impress the crowd then look no further than the encore. Panic stepped back on stage to debut “Street Dogs for Breakfast” before sealing the deal with a strong “Blackout Blues” to end the first night of the tour. Great things ahead, the Home Team is back in action.

Tickets for Summer Tour are on sale now here.
