Six Years Ago Today

PHISH RETURNED TO LIVE MUSIC

The first time I heard “AC/DC Bag” in a car with some friends I was intrigued by the seemingly foreign yet interesting sound of Phish. After that it was all about “The Phish”.

Then there was the 2004 breakup… It seemed as though this really was the end of the band. However, waking up one morning a headline on Jambase caught my attention —- Phish announcing their return at the Mothership, The Hampton Coliseum.

Six years ago today the best band in live music made their return. Pour yourself a cold one of this fine Friday afternoon and watch this 16 and a half minute “Fluffhead” opener. What an appropriate song to kick off the next 6 years. Cheers !
