Furthur Calls It Quits
To our loyal Furthur fans and members of the Furthur community at furthur.net, we’d like to thank you for a terrific ride. We’ll be closing up shop at furthur.net, and heading onward. Thanks for making the Furthur community a great place to hang out, and for coming out to the shows. We’ll all be keeping very busy over the foreseeable future, and it’s time to let Furthur take a bow. We enjoyed the ride more than we can possibly express.
You can keep tabs on Phil’s activities at www.terrapincrossroads.net, Bob’s activities at www.bobweir.net and all Grateful Dead news at www.dead.net
On another note in case you missed it Bob Weir called for a Grateful Dead Reunion in 2015 for a 50th anniversary tour. It is merely speculation at this point, but with Furthur not playing anymore and Ratdog having cancelled their shows and a 50th Anniversary coming up it seems very likely we could see a unique reunification in 2015.
Take a moment to reflect on Furthur below with this outstanding version of one of the most beautiful songs in the history of music, “Terrapin Station”.

Whose going to play lead …?
Jerry’s legacy, trampled on a bit more…
hopefully not the “hat trick” 😉
