Phish May Not Cover Album for Halloween


Phish’s epic Halloween concerts have certainly made Phishtory. As we all know this past year Phish unveiled their new album, Wingsuit, in its entirety. Sure it was nice to give fans fresh music, but for those who were hoping for a cover of one of the most epic albums of all time, they had to be at least a little disappointed. Fans headed to catch Phish at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for an epic Vegas can except a different experience this round.

Unlike the tradition in the past of covering an album like Dark Side of the Moon, the future for what they have in store this year remains a mystery. However, Trey did infer in a recent interview with  that they may be setting aside the long running tradition aside this year.

“I don’t know that we’re going to cover anything this year, to be perfectly honest,” he said. “That’s the word I’m getting from the other guys. You never know. I’m guessing that we may have put that tradition to bed with the wink to ‘Fuego’.”
