Bonnaroo 2006 | “Casey Jones”

Let’s go back seven years shall we ? With Phish having called it quits in 2006, phans rejoiced when Trey Anastasio and Mike Gordon announced they would be joining forces for a full tour together with Marco Benevento and Joe Russo. At the time the Benevento/Russo Duo was quickly garnering a strong following amongst fans in the jazz and jamband community. The tour kicked off at Bonnaroo 2006 and today we highlight this cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Casey Jones” featuring Phil Lesh on bass.
