Stream “Young G” off Forthcoming Album

Just yesterday Phoniks gave listeners a preview of his highly anticipated titled album “Stories from the Brass Section”. The recently leaked track titled “Young G” shows the superb collaboration pairing of Phoniks and emcee Anti-Lilly. The full length album is set for release on March 8th. Houston emcee Anti-Lilly and Portland, ME producer Phoniks have linked up for a collaborative LP that’s dropping on 3/8/2014. The album, titled “Stories from the Brass Section”, is a journey through the mind of the Houston emcee, filled with thought-provoking rhymes over a soundscape of jazzy piano samples, vinyl horn loops, and dusty drum-breaks created by Phoniks. The pairing of Phoniks vintage east coast production style combined with Anti’s classic laid back H-Town delivery and introspective bars make for a combination that is truly fresh, while paying tribute to the originators of their respective sounds at the same time.
