This is an insane Pretty Lights meets the best of hip-hop mix to get your weekend started. A throwback of sorts, a year ago the Philly based producer dropped this epic remix that kicks off with one of our favorite Pretty Lights tracks “We Must Go On”. That track is particularly of notice because when it hit the web in 2012 it exhibited a revisitation to PL’s roots with soulful psychedelic grooves. This 5 & A Dime mix stands out because of the fine hip-hop selections he chooses. The mix kicks off with Method Man’s “How High” and quickly transitions into the hip-hop legend Big L’s track “Put it On” which was originally released in 1999. Other choice cut highlights include Nas & Dr. Dre. All in all, this mix will get your Friday night started off right with a nod to hip-hop & electronic.
