Wanee just dropped a very solid line-up featuring the Allman Brothers Band in the spotlight. Of course this means some great music from Tedeschi Trucks Band, Gov’t Mule, and Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band will also be present to highlight the other projects of Warren, Derek, and Jaimoe. This roster may not seem as long as others we have seen in recent weeks, but the point is this; line-up is all Killer NO filler! The variety is certainly present ranging from the reggae vibes of Ziggy Marley to blues guitar virtuoso Walter Trout to a DJ set of psychedelic world music from Rob Garza (of Thievery Corporation) to a Zeppelin set from Dumpstaphunk. All in all, you got the heavy hitters from the jam scene, a hint of electronic, reggae, and a whole lotta funk this year on the Wanee Roster.
