Covers Elton John – Dec. 30, 2013
Umphrey’s just wrapped up a 3 night-run in Denver including two shows at the Fillmore. However, the biggest surprise for fans was their performance on Dec.30th at the newly opened venue along Colfax Avenue, the 1Up. Denver fans can expect a host of highly acclaimed artists to appear at the intimate venue in the near future. About the 1Up:
The venue, located at 717 E Colfax Avenue in the heart of the city’s live music district, originally opened in 2012 as The 2up, an arcade bar with more than 35 classic arcade games and 15 pinball machines. When the space next door became available, the business expanded to include a more than 500 person music venue and also changed its name to be consistent with its other Denver location, The 1up – Lodo, located at 1925 Blake Street.
