Coastal set for early 2014 Release
A big shout-out to some of my close friends & former bandmates at Mother Funk. They’ve been tearing up the Tuscaloosa music scene over the past year or so rocking originals and a tasty selection of covers ranging from Buffalo Springfield to Phish to Tea Leaf Green to Shaggy, you name it they play it. We are highly anticipating an excellent full-length debut album, “Coastal”, set for release on January 1, 2014. We will be sure to keep you updated on all Mother Funk related news as the date approaches.
Enjoy this live recording of Mother Funk performing “Cajun Lady” live at Greekfest 2013 in Tuscaloosa, AL. The funkers opened up for Dispatch & Wiz Khalifa at the festival. There will be a studio version of this song on their upcoming debut album, “Coastal” which will be released on Jan. 1, 2014.
