Over the past year, we’ve taken a few risks as a band. While we’ve always been ones to experiment with music and stage performance, for our next musical project we wanted to embark on our most ambitious sonic experience to date. We looked for inspiration far and wide and came to realize we wanted to make our first concept album.

‘A Thousand Faces – Act 1’ is the first step in this sonic, spiritual adventure bringing the monomyth of Joseph Cambell‘s Hero’s Journey to life. Our music brings together the cultural traditions of numerous world cultures across the globe, and Joseph Cambell’s monomyth does this as well by bringing together the cultural stories that connect all cultures into one unified story, known as the Hero’s Journey.

‘A Thousand Faces – Act 1’ is the first part of our musical representation of this voyage. We hope you enjoy your journey through this as we enjoyed making these sonic landscapes.
