The Heavy Pets caught my eye in 2007 at Langerado Music Festival held in Markham Park. At the time the jam-rock-jazz-funk act was only two years into their carrer earning themselves a spot on the bill by winning the Sonic Bids Competition.

Since then these Ft. Lauderdale based musicians have performed at numerous festivals including Wakarusa Music Festival, Gathering of the Vibes, and Bonnaroo among other notable festivals.

Several days ago they released this video containing a live studio jam of their original song titled “Help Me, Help You” in anticipation for Bear Creek Music Festival where they performed this past weekend.
