John Mayer came back to his musical hometown Atlanta on his solo tour, debuting a new tune in front of a sold-out audience. Full photo gallery and review in link in bio. We were so thankful to see a healthy Chuck Garvey (@moechukg) on stage with Rob Derhak (@rderhak), Al Schnier (@alschnier) and the rest of @moetheband band in Atlanta! The joy and jams commenced down south. Full gallery in link in bio with additional photos of Night 2 of @vinnieamico, @jimfrommoe & @natewilson313! 🤘🏼💙 Tedeschi Trucks Band are the best large ensemble band touring the country. Their six night residency in Washington, D.C. at the Warner Theatre reaffirmed that. Full gallery in link in bio! Great times in Milwaukee! Marco Benevento (with Karina Rykman and Chris Corsico) and Mike Dillon’s Punkadelick (with Nikki Glaspie and Brian Haas) elevated the vibe in the city with some elite jams. Full gallery and recap in link in bio. Billy Strings is the coolest because not only does he master all things bluegrass, he also adds so many different musical flavorings into his sound and live shows. Strings played “Nutshell” by Alice In Chains in Cincinnati for the first time last night, and of course he and his band nailed it. It was actually AIC guitarist Jerry Cantrell’s (@jerrycantrell) birthday too. Keep breaking musical barriers Billy, we’re loving it. Happy St. Patrick’s Day ☘️ Check out some lively videos of Dropkick Murphys doing “Shipping Up to Boston” and “Warrior’s Code” in Atlanta last week to get you in the Celtic spirit. It was a great show that supported a fantastic cause for veterans, children, and addiction recovery (@claddaghfund). Athens GA’s Drive-By Truckers performing in Milwaukee at the Pabst Theater. Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley have a way of bringing a southern gothic grit to every tune, which always impresses live. Full review and photos in link in bio. Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains in Atlanta at The Eastern. The true king of the sludgy, ‘grunge’ guitar sound, his set shined with solo material and Alice In Chains tunes down south. Thankful this veteran of the 90s Seattle scene is still making music and bringing rock to the masses. 🤘🏼 Billy Strings covering Little Feat’s “Willin’” in Atlanta. Oh Atlanta, indeed.
